Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea – Fundraising with Heart

We proudly participated in Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, raising funds and awareness for the Cancer Council. Our vibrant community of children, families and educators came together with great enthusiasm and generosity to support this meaningful cause.

In the lead-up to the event, children poured their energy into baking sultana cookies, crafting unique artworks, designing bracelets and making handmade decorative tokens. Their creations were proudly displayed in the foyer and fundraising stations, turning our learning environment into a colourful celebration of community and compassion.

Families joined in by donating for the children’s creations or contributing via donation tins and QR codes. Parents and children browsed the display shelves together, selected their favourite handmade items and chatted about the importance of helping others in need. There were also special moments of bonding and pride as children pointed out their own contributions and shared their learning experiences with loved ones.

This event not only raised vital funds to support cancer research and care, but also served as a valuable teaching opportunity for our young learners. Through participation, they learned about empathy, the joy of giving and the strength of community collaboration.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our families for their generous support and involvement. Your presence and kindness made this initiative a wonderful success. Together, we are helping make a difference — one cookie, one bracelet, one smile at a time.

Thank you for standing with us in support of the Cancer Council.
